Brockport offers a program in Danang, Vietnam for a full year, fall, or spring semester. The program presents a rare and exciting opportunity for US university students, regardless of academic major, to live, study, and provide service in Danang, the capital of Central Vietnam, for an entire semester. Academic credit is available. A total of 21 credits are awarded for the successful completion of courses in this program. Each undergraduate student will take five courses: Language, History, Culture, Politics, and Community Service. Graduate students will negotiate credits for learning. All credits earned in the SUNY Brockport Vietnam Program will be counted towards undergraduate degree requirements for graduation. Non-SUNY students and students who wish to use these credits for their academic major and/or minor should consult with their home campus academic departments prior to participation. Letter grades for the courses taken will be transmitted to the participant's home campus Registrar via the Brockport transcript supplement at the conclusion of the semester. Graduate students who wish to contract through the program to use the program for additional research activities may do so.
